Shelley Meador

Chief Human Resources Officer

Shelley Meador comes to Young Life with a lifelong commitment of serving youth of all ages. Her passion to see and value the next generation of global leaders is supported by her involvement in early childhood ministry; supporting youth in underdeveloped countries; serving on boards such as Make a Wish Foundation and Prevent Child Abuse Indiana; chairing the Executive Advisory Board of Ball State University’s Miller College of Business, her alma mater. Shelley also focused on supporting young women in her community through her leadership with Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association by cultivating a passion in STEM careers while also raising awareness of heart health early in life.

Professionally, Shelley brings over 30 years of diverse experience in entrepreneurship, financial and human capital leadership. More recently, Shelley served as the chief human resources officer and senior vice president of HR and Corporate Communications for Allegion, a global organization in 30+ countries with over 11,000 employees. She is a strategic, visionary and agile business partner with significant experience leading global teams. Her focus on intentional talent development, shaping culture and strategy realization has contributed to the success of many organizations. Shelley is also a certified public accountant; and she and her husband, Bill, own and operate four businesses in the logistics industry with nearly 100 employees within Indiana and Florida.

Shelley and Bill have four adult children, and are loving the experience of expanding their family through marriage and grandchildren. They enjoy time with family, traveling and live music.
